Introduced in 1982, the Republic of China’s Panda coin is among the finest gold bullion coins on the planet. The obverse side more or less remains the same from year to year. The design showcases the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest at the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The reverse side, however, spotlights images of the famous Chinese panda and changes annually, making each coin part of a limited-edition set. Due to the strong demand for the Panda from the Chinese market, only a few of these coins are available for the worldwide market.
